Update: The CT scan today (see Allies earlier post) showed an increase in the amount of fluid in Brandons left lung. although he was seemingly asymptomatic, 2/3 of his left lung had been compressed with fluid. In order to avoid a complete lung collapse they placed a chest tube into his lung to help drain the fluid more quickly and efficiently. This will need to remain in place for several days. He is doing well and they gave him medication to help him rest. As always, keep the prayers and positivity coming! And those of you who are wondering (like I did), this is an unwelcome, but expected complication.
