Update: The dandelions have been removed. Unfortunately I have no visual proof of this just yet - as the lens of my camera didnt function as it should in order to capture what to me now feels like desolate space. You will just have to take my word on this, for now. With the elimination of the dandelions along with my simple words - there seems to be a profound lesson in all of this. With focus on the dandelion - man eats man world comes to mind and the thought of loss of opportunity for experimentation as I had wanted - at the same time also an opportunity to nourish myself direct from the source without contamination by the human hand - since I believed it to naturally grow there - without being planted - leaving alone what was beautiful to me at that time - thinking it served a better purpose - to leave and let live. Now all I have is a memory and questions. I need to give the benefit of a doubt since I dont know much about this citrus bearing tree - maybe dandelions cause more harm than good in this particular setting? So for me to get a clear understanding I would have to know both sides of this story. But no matter how much I educate myself on the effects of dandelions re: citrus trees - I will never know the knowledge or the thought behind the person who made this particular decision to be rid of them. All I know - is that, this update, for me, represents so much - if not all of life. I cant make up such questionable thoughts .... but alas I have other things to do and tomorrow when I step out again - will now take a photo of what I consider desolate space - as this is how I first saw it. If I never had been introduced to it in this condition (the tree) or if the dandelion never re-appeared in my life again - would I even give it a second thought. Do we only observe that which we have knowledge of - whether by absence or proof of existence? There may be a few more hidden questions in this update - not on purpose - but they appeared - I will leave it to you to find them for yourself ( (this statement alone can be questioned))
