Update: The neurologist spoke with us this morning & showed us my dads MRI images. He had a massive left frontal lobe stroke. Plus both of his carotid arteries are completely blocked so the only blood & oxygen his brain is getting is from the posterior artery running up the back of his neck. According to the neurologist his prognosis is poor. According to the rehab therapist his prognosis is fair to good. Theyre confident hell be able to walk again with assistance, but as for his speech, comprehension, ability to swallow & bowel & bladder control only time will tell. Plus hes at high risk for another stoke....Keep praying.
