Update: They attempted to remove dad from life support today. He began breathing on his own, but was not absorbing a sufficient amount of oxygen into his body. So, they placed him back on the ventilator and began an examination of his lungs. The examination showed that dad had a significant amount of fluid built up and this was causing the oxygen deficiency. As a result, they went in and removed as much of the fluid as they possibly could. At this point they are monitoring him and making sure he gets plenty of rest for the surgeries ahead. Jennifer
