Update: Things are going smooth. All the stitches are out of his legs and his follow up from his hand surgery is Wednesday morning to figure out the next step with those. We are seeing improvements everyday. Even if its the smallest thing it puts us one step closer to Matt being back on his feet. Every single day I see him go thru so much. Its painful and at times pure agony but he still pushes, He doesnt give up. I wish I could make it all go away, or at least go thru some of it for him. We both just have to stay focused on the end result, and remember that this too will pass. His strength and determination will never cease to amaze me. If any of you ever need a rehab facility (God forbid but we are proof that you never know what may happen) this is the place to be. I can not say enough about how wonderful everyone has been to us. The therapists are amazing, they actually care. They spend time with each patient not only working with them but trying to figure out how to make them more comfortable. They also talk to me, explaining what I can do to help. The doctors, nurses, and the nursing assistants do whatever they can for us, both of us. Being here has been a blessing! We are looking forward to being home. Not sure when that will be but I think its actually getting close. I just want whats best for Matt. Thank you ALL! For everything! Love, Mel
