Are you still waiting to hear an apology from Governor Jay Nixon, to Ferguson businesses and residents? Dont hold your breath! Not even a call to our Mayor, James Knolwes III, by the way rumor has it theres a James Knowles the 4th on the way this Spring. When is the Governor going to promise the people of the Ferguson Area some help? Cant he call President Barack Obama and ask for some Federal Aid. Not a National Disaster they might say, Right? Like all the Billions in Foreign Aid is for a natural disasters. I say if we can appropriate Billions to fight wars for other countries why cant a few million be sent to Americans who vote and die for this country. If you agree, call Governor Nixon and the White House. Google their numbers, their numbers are out there. They need to hear from you. Let them know what you think about the silence regarding helping innocent victims of their inaction. Im bullish on Ferguson. We are an amazing city. Until now its been our little secret. Well I am telling the secret. Ferguson had a 50% cash reserve before this August. We are one of only a couple of cities in St. Louis Country that can say this. We have an Award Winning Farmers Market, the only Brewery, Wine Bar and soon to be Cigar Bar in North County. We have our own police, fire, library, which are not districts. During the worst recession since the depression we approved and built a multimillion dollar fire station and first ever community center. We were a Finalist in 2010 as Americas ALL AMERICAN CITY. August 5th the voters approved a tax levy increase for the Ferguson-Florissant School District. Mind you, when other cities were bleeding and reeling, Ferguson had a 50% cash reserve. Ferguson was surviving and thriving. Nothing will stop, if we dont let it. The West Florissant Corridor Study which took over 4 years in planning is complete and ready to go. The New West Florissant Road Project in Conjunction with St. Louis County, Jennings, Dellwood, and led by Ferguson will be simple Amazing. Be Positive this will become a Reality. *********** SOMETHING NEW- You can order on line at iloveferguson. Be patient while we work out the bugs.
