Update: Volunteer Found, thank you everyone!!! *VOLUNTEER NEEDED FOR TRANSPORT* Help us safe a life! Please meet Cleopatra! Cleopatra is an eleven year old Yellow Lab that has been through a lot. Her owner could no longer care for her and had to bring her to the shelter. It was a heartbreaking scene as the owner was on the floor crying and kissing Cleopatra and she was kissing him back as if she knew he was going to leave her there. This scene broke everyone’s heart and with the shelter being at capacity Cindy immediately started looking for a rescue for this sweet girl. LUCKY LABS RESCUE offered to save her! They will be able to admit her as soon as tomorrow BUT her foster home is in Charlotte. We are looking for a volunteer to either transport her tomorrow afternoon to Charlotte or meet with the foster parents in Greensboro off I-85, Exit 124 near Verizon store.
