Update: We are blessed. God is so Good. It is hard to keep a good man down. One of my big jobs now is to keep him from sneaking outside for a few minutes. He is and will be in isolation until January 1. That means he has to stay in the house. At least he remembers to put on a mask. As you may remember from a former update, he cannot go out, or have any type of food made outside of the house among many other rules and regulations. At times he is still experiencing intestinal problems and nausea. He is still very weak and has lost around 25-30 lbs. He has been trying to workout for short periods of time each day. He is amazing. Today is a special day for us and we are excited. The first phase of our isolation is over--30 days. When we started the transplant process, we had to farm Duffy (our little black Scottie dog) out to our sons house. This was so that John did not get any germs from him when his blood count was so low. HE IS COMING HOME. We can hardly wait for him to get here. The cute little guy brings us a lot of joy. Once again, thank you all for your love, prayers, and support. You will never know how much we appreciate you and how much this means to us. We love you. Have a great Lords day! Rejoice always, pray constantly, give thanks in all circumstances for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. I Thes. 5:16-18
