Update: We finally have a set plan for Ems Radiation (for last week of Aug) Her pre Radiation Diet starts on Mon and she will also have to stop taking her thyroid meds...(so I guess this weekend we will be living it up) Her first Full Body scan will be Aug 26th...(praying that the Cancer has not spread) ...Then Radiation starts the very next day (w/the dose based on the 1st scan) ...followed by isolation at home for a few days. She is determined to make The First day of school (day after Labor Day) but after that, she is back up to Philly for a 2nd scan. Thank you all again so so much for your love and support ...We are very hopeful that Em is gonna kick this thing and after radiation will be Cancer Free.
