Update Wednesday 11/5/14 Wendy- Drew is doing well, down to walking with just one crutch...his PT says he will probably be losing that crutch soon if he keeps working hard...hes having some neuropsychological testing to test all the areas of his brain since he lost so much blood and was without as much oxygen for a while...he still has a draining abscess on his leg, infectious disease Dr. upped his antibiotics to 2 times a day...not much can be done till rod comes out and they can flush out bone and place antibiotic down in it, and praying that will take care of it!! Hes only having to take his blood pressure meds about every other day, please keep praying we will be able to work him off that...his nerve pain is getting less and less, thank God, because that was really painful for him! We started some counseling as a family this week and we all felt better afterwards...please keep praying for us all as we are still trying to find a routine and working through school online! Thank you!!
