Update after the news conference, as per NBC Connecticut: -CCSUs campus is safe, the lockdown has been lifted, and a huge sigh of relief is being breathed after an alleged gunman was taken into custody with no injuries occurring. -Police have taken in three persons of interest, one of which authorities say is definitely a CCSU student. -All three suspects were found in James Hall, and the teams of SWAT and police officials went floor by floor in the building that houses 415 freshmen until reaching the suspects. -The initial 911 call that sent authorities to the campus was a concerned student stating they saw someone dressed in what looked like a halloween costume carrying a gun on their side, and possibly a sword. -There will be news conferences as the night goes on, but the university is thankful a literal bullet was dodged.
