Update and an awareness moment: Our three latest rescues are doing great and Clifford was neutered yesterday and will be hanging out at Brenda and Jerrys house. Two black labs, who have been named Becky and Ben by RMC volunteer Penny, are staying at our Boarding facility. They will be spayed and neutered on Tuesday. All have received the RMC protocol. This includes all shots, including bordetella, microchipping, fecal tested and treatment, and the indepth HEARTWORM test. Please friends if you have your dog tested, please make sure that the vet is using the type of HEARTWORM test that checks for heartworm, Lyme, and Ehrlichia . All the tests dont and this year Lyme and Ehrlichia are rampant. We encourage you to ask the vet which Heartworm test they use and research the significance of this in depth testing. Treatment is easy but diagnosis has to occur first! And interested in adopting one of these three dogs or other RMC dogs, please contact us. We have amazing dogs, all tested and treated, if positive.
