Update: as u all know I got beat up by the Bakersfield Police in March. I borrowed 15g from my Grandma & have a great attorney team working on it. Yea, I know I use to be a peace officer. Story is simple, we were homeless cause we could not afford to live in Seattle any longer, $1800 rent. We pushed south cause it was warmer, ended up seeing my niece/nephew. Headed towards Bakersfield, our motorhome started breaking down. Ended up in an old strip mall for the night. We were having dinner & relaxing, a truck blasted thru nearly running over my kids & 2 other little girls walking thru. I yelled at the driver to slow down. He flipped around, sped past. He comes back later w/ a buddy jumps out his truck & aggresses me. I had a flashlight in my hand & said lets go. He says he is callin police. I said go ahead. Police arrive, I greet, they start yellin, barkin orders. Then officer goes to handcuff me . I slowly step left & turn , hands up & ask for him to listen to my side of story. At that point I got the shit kicked out of me w/ batons. I was released 16 hours later. ROR, given a court date of 18 April. We wait in campgrounds till my date, I show up, clean cut n ready. Court says there not ready. Stamps my paper & says call weekly for a new court date. On 1 May, 3 May, I email courts no charges. 16 May I call, nothing. I check every other day on website for court n charges. 22 May nothing. 24 May, 2230, I missed court. Now I have warrants. Of course this illegal & out of scope for due process, but Kern County is illegal in their process anyways. My attorney was able to get both warrants retracted n pulled. A tort claim, lawsuit, evidence suppression. & motion to dismiss has been filed. I had on my motorhome USMC plates. Nothing mattered, these were killer cops & the area is known for it. Everyone who knows me, knows I am a fighter for justice & the right. Just remember this can happen to anyone, any color and any home. Be vigilant, be ready & record, record , record. Lucky I had Fam to support this or I would have no voice. The point I made at the arrest was? Why am I being arrested for standing up for right, kids nearly ran over plus I did not aggress this guy at his house he aggressed me. Point being, expect the unexpected; & realize the abnormal out of norm. That right these says is wrong & wrong is right . Be safe folks! Freedom is a good thing!
