Update for HTC One M7 customers experiencing audio issues when making calls. We are continuing to work hard to finalise the software fix to resolve current audio issues with some HTC One M7 devices. The software patch continues to undergo thorough testing and we will have an update for you soon. In the meantime, for anyone experiencing these audio issues, we have some temporary solutions that have demonstrated to address a significant number of cases. Start with Disabling Google Services Framework 1. Swipe down from the top of the screen 2. Go to Settings->Apps->All->Google Services Framework->tap Disable 3. And then go to Settings->Power->uncheck Fast Boot 4. Last, press the Power key for 3 seconds to Restart your HTC One (M7) 5. The audio portion of the phone is now restored Note, this is a temporary solution until the new software update is available. It will disable some Google apps like Google Drive, Google Plus, Google Play and Google Doc. However Gmail, YouTube and Google Maps will continue to function as normal. Also Remove VOIP apps (including Viber, Skype & Facebook Messenger) 1. Press and hold down (long press) the app that is to be removed 2. Drag app to the top of screen and drop into ‘Uninstall’ 3. Last, press the Power key for 3 seconds to Restart your HTC One (M7) Should you wish to speak with our customer service team, we kindly ask that you call us on 1800 987 039 or use our Live Chat service at htc/au/contact/chat/. Please be aware that due to the volume of calls coming into the call centre, there may be some delays in speaking with a member of our team. Thanks, The HTC Australia Team
