Update for Wednesday: (July 30) Scary moment last night! Scott and I were actually here for an episode of his arrhythmia around 10pm. Talk about scary! I felt so helpless not knowing anything to do. His heart rate jumped from 136 to 242 in a matter of seconds! Thank God it broke after a minute. Theyll discuss upping his dosage of digoxin now. On a brighter note, hes still tolerating the feedings! Hallelujah!! They did an X-ray to see exactly where the breathing tube was sitting at in his lungs, and discovered congestion in the upper part of the right lung. This is mucus/liquid thatll now be treated with a vibration therapy every 4 hrs for 10 min at a time. Then they suction him to get the loosened part out. Hopefully it breaks up quickly and he can be extubated. Physical therapy also came by today. They massaged his neck muscles, tense from always being on the left side. They also experimented with his sucking reflexes. He actually took his first binkie!!!! Of course it wont stay in his mouth because of the breathing tube sticking out, but the good part is that his did take it! Baby steps forward. God is in control. #sweetbabytucker
