Update for day 24 and 25: Kirstens infection appears to be getting better as there is less drainage at her pin sites. Monday her friend Nikkella Alexis arrived in Seattle. Having a visitor has been a great morale booster for Kirsten. It was late in the evening before we were back home after picking up Nikkella from the airport. Kirsten had an appointment with the pain doctor on Tuesday. They did not make any adjustments to her medication for at least a week. She is still very depressed about being in a wheelchair. We went to a few places after her appointment. We stopped at the space needle. The handicap door buttons and the chair access lift didnt work. The doors were not a big deal but the chair access to the deck really bothered her. She doesnt want to do anything until she can walk. Please continue to send Kirsten messages of love and encouragement. This is a tough summer for her. Thank you for your continued support!
