Update for today: I was admitted to University of Colorado Hospital last night. Theyve ran a CT of my head, which showed excess fluid, they did a lumbar puncture, which showed high pressure in the fluid around my brain and spinal cord, a chest X-ray (clear), an EKG which showed an irregularity in my heartbeat (due to heart damage from chemo, but nothing serious) urine and stool samples (clear) and Ive been poked for blood labs/cultures eight times. My blood labs show that my kidneys are not doing well, but they are slowly improving with IV fluids. Im waiting on an MRI of my head and (more) blood labs. Ill be here again tonight. I actually felt better after the lumbar puncture last night, probably because removing some of the fluid relieved some of the pressure. Im not dizzy and Im seeing better. Ive been able to eat a little bit today, which is an improvement.
