*Update from Emilys Mom* Want to give an update to everyone who has been thinking of and praying for Emily. We are still in the hospital. After shunt malfunctions, an infection, unsuccessful surgeries, and many complications, Emily had her shunt put back in yesterday. Shes now being monitored for signs of malfunction, infection, and making sure her incision heals properly. This has been such a long, overwhelming, scary time for us. We were blessed to have gone 4 years w no shunt issues whatsoever and now have been through every possible shunt issue all back to back to back. Although we dont understand why this is happening, we are trusting in God to take care of her, heal her, and get her home. Thanks to everyone who has been so helpful and kind during these past several weeks. We appreciate all the love, support, and prayers more than we can ever express.
