Update from January 15th post where indicated a market turn around in Gold and using Gold mining stocks for that entity. In order to increase the ROR (rate of return) on the chosen entity, simple use OPTIONS (in order to magnify the returns along with GREATLY limit the amount of investment). My choice on Jan 15 demonstrated once again the procedure by choosing NEM (Newmont Mining), via CALL (right to buy) OPTIONS ( CALL Jan 30 strike point of 22). It has now risen 324% and today closed (sold) in 2 separate sales one at 278% ROR and the last at 324% ROR. The percentage gain looks very high, but remember that an option potfolio should use only 10% of total portfolio value...this adds approx. 30% of total portfolio profit value which takes a 5-7% return into 6.5-9% constant year over year dependable advance. This last 12 months was actually 32.7% return which was quite siginicant.
