Update from Jason: Christie and I have been married for three - TopicsExpress

Update from Jason: Christie and I have been married for three and a half years. What most people probably dont realize is that during this time, we have never lived in the same house needless to say the same City. This is due to our careers being in different cities along with Christie going back to school. Christie wanted more then anything for her and I too live a normal life, where we both lived in the same City and in our own house. On Friday, September 27th, Christie and I took one step closer to her wish coming true. We purchased our first house however, only 9 days later, Christie suffered her ruptured brain aneurysm. During Christies time in the hospital, I made the decision to keep the house and move forward with getting it ready for her to come home. Even though Christie didnt remember us buying a house, I wanted it to be special and I wanted her to be proud of our house. A lot of hard work went into getting the house ready. I am proud to report that one week ago today, I brought Christie home to our house for the first time and she was proud of it. Christie still has no short term memory. Every morning we wake up and she thinks its the first time she has stayed in our house. Every evening, when we get back to the house, I give her a tour of the house because she thinks its the first time she has seen it. Even though Christie doesnt remember our house from day to day, theres not a better feeling then being able to bring my wife home, every evening, to our house. I want to thank everyone who has volunteered their time and meals to help with Christie, so far. You have no idea how much it means too me and I truly appreciate it. To my Uncle Kent, my parents, my sister, my Aunt TJ, Travis Carter and Nick Sykora. Thank you for your help with the house and for making it a special place for my wife to come home too. I am truly a blessed man.
