Update from Lauren and Rob Davis about Liam... Hey family. Just a quick update on our sweet baby boy. He is stable for now. Still in VERY critical condition but doing some things that are surprising the drs. I could spout out a bunch of numbers and medical terms but lets be honest. We just want to make sure things are moving in the right direction. Some of his lab work is looking great and back to normal. His heart and lungs are being TOTALLY supported by the ECMO machine. This means that Liam is finally resting. Not having to do ANYTHING for them to work. We are now just waiting and watching. Watching his heart rate. It needs to improve. And waiting for neurology to look at his brain function. A big positive is that hes opened his eyes just a few times, taken a few breaths on his own over the ventilator, moved his arms and legs and responded to pain. We dont want him to suffer or have to struggle anymore. Praying for Gods will BUT we want Liam to stick around for a while. What a blessing!!!! Love you all.
