Update from MaryEsther: I wanted to share a few moments with you that have amazed me along this journey. I think of it as God sending his little winks our way to let us know that we are loved and being taken care of. I was speaking to Kyle about these moments, and I think he said it perfectly, These things didnt just happen. You gotta know that! All these things didnt just fall into place. We cant say this all happened by chance, because we know better. God has really surrounded this family! Here are a few amazing moments we have experienced so far: 1) The series of events that lead to me even taking him to the doctor. 2) Once we got to LeBonheur, they were about to send us home when Cole had a bad spell that the doctors were actually able to witness that ultimately led to getting the ball rolling IMMEDIATELY. 3) Our experience at St. Jude has been indescribable. 4) We discovered that one of the doctors that is working on our Cole has also performed NUMEROUS MAJOR operations on a dear miracle student of mine that I take care of daily at Sudduth! 5) Nurse Susan Williams, that is subbing for me at Sudduth, just happens to be Kyles mothers (who tragically passed away years ago) best friend! (who I had never met or knew of until the other day) 6) I am just amazed that we have not had ANY side effects of chemo meds yet!! HUGE PRAISE! 7) At the rodeo last night, we were told that the person that won the raffle just happened to be visiting from Texas and his son actually had Hepatoblastoma and was now cancer free! I will remind you that our doctor told us that there were only about 150 cases in the US currently. 8) After examining Coles belly this morning, I notice a BIG difference in the tumor size! PRAISE THE LORD! As you can see, God is shining his light extra bright during this time in our lives and I want to encourage you that if you do not know Him, please get to know him so he can shine His light in your life!
