Update from Pearls foster momma: Pearl has decided to shower us with personality plus this past week. First thing last Monday, Pearl set out to do a bit of tweaking in her designated sleeping quarters (the laundry room). Although she loves staying in this room, probably as this is the busiest area of our home, it appears that Pearl & I must share some of the same concerns regarding the smaller size of the room. That morning, when I returned to the house after feeding the horses, I was greeted by a very pleased & proud Pearl & a heap of her bedding & blankets in the middle of the floor, after having obviously drug them from her sleeping area in the laundry room. She had strategically placed her bedding in the doorway of the laundry room blocking anyones entrance (except by herself), & then making it very difficult to open the door to the garage, or the back yard, & requiring us to have to step over her to enter either the kitchen or the master bedroom! I continue to be shocked at how easily she is able to maneuver about without eyesight & uses her other senses with apparent ease. I wasnt able to move quickly enough to stop her from ducking under our fence & chowing down on a pile of horse manure once she caught the scent. Pearl will truly make someone an awesome addition to their family. She is so sweet & funny & just a little bit of puppy left in her. She has a lot of energy & loves to go for walks without tiring. She lets you know when she is hungry & needs to go potty & if by chance you might try to ignore one of her requests, you can just forget it. This sweet girl knows what she wants & when she wants it! Pearl will need to be an only dog. She has no tolerance for other dogs.
