Update from Peru: Reality has finally set in This morning started off with lots of lots of tears and prayer. On our way to church, we witnessed a brawl on the side of the road. To see blood and fists flying and with the sound of new born babies crying was absolutely horrific. The only thing we could do was fervently cry out to Jesus. It was in this moment that I realized that people (all over the globe) have a far greater need than physical healing but they are in need of spiritual healing. Only the message of Jesus Christ can soften a heart of stone. Please continue to join me in prayer as we preach the good news of Jesus Christ. With that said, there are tribes within the San Lorenzo valley (bare breasted tribal folk) that have not yet heard that there is a Living God who heals and transforms lives. They have an eye for an eye law that they live and die to. This door has been closed for 45 years to reach these 8 tribes. Praise God that this door is now finally open. So the question is who will go? Who will reach Awajun, Wampis, Chapra, Kandozi, Achuar, Shawi, and the Quechua? Keep us in prayer as we cast the vision to the local Peruvian churchs.
