Update from one of our contacts in #WNY over an hr ago. Some good news coming in. About 45 minutes ago the Ice dam broke on Caz creek and it is free flowing. (great news) Just 10 minutes ago the Ice dam broke on Buffalo creek and creek has returned to just under flood stage (thank god). I have heard a few reports of streets here and there, but as for now everything seems to be under control. There is still a lot of snow solid, a lot of drains blocked and a lot of water in play. I am monitoring the reports and if anything goes south yall will be the first to know. They are still predicting flooding, the ice is the major player of where and when it will happen. It is supposed to be raining tonight and 60 degrees tomorrow causing a rapid meltdown.
