Update from our year 10 students and staff in Spain this week - TopicsExpress

Update from our year 10 students and staff in Spain this week ... On a somewhat foggy morning 25 students and 3 teachers set off on their week long adventure to Spain. They battled through the traffic jam of a motorway that is the M25, successfully navigated the Ryanair maze of a check in system and sailed through security to duty free. There were a few students who had never flown before but soon got over any nerves and we all enjoyed an uneventful flight. Upon arriving in Spain we were met with a lovely warm and sunny day as well as the Spanish teacher Manolo who escorted us out to the awaiting bus. Twenty minutes later and we arrived at the Colegio Británico de Aragón. Arriving at the Spanish school caused the unprecedented event of a silent group of year 10 Mascalls students but they were soon made to feel very welcome by their Spanish partners and once again found their voices! All students have set off for their new homes for the next week, making plans for this evening and with smiles on their faces. We will update with their stories tomorrow. Hasta mañana Miss Dunk, Miss Simón and Mr Aylward
