Update from the floor, day 3. Survived drugged-up day 2: 10mg oxy, 3000mg of acetominophen, 1000mg ibuprofen, 2400mg methocarbmol = some relief + vicious stomach upset by morning. I offer no details from the smallest room in the house, but you can imagine. Showered. I bet you could all smell me through Facebook by this morning. Its safe to read my posts again. Have walked in excess of 30ft today without aid of support. Am scheduling brief forays of movement. Remembering past epiodes fondly. Collapsing outside the Gato Nero with Eric Geringas in 1991 after moving onto Crawford Street. Lying on my face on the sidewalk outside of Babbo in NYC, 2005, after not being able to get out of the bankhead. Was carried to the street by two waiters. Taking Greyhound from Gravenhurst fall 2006 and crawling to my mothers car outside the bus terminal. Blacking out from pain while driving boys from hockey at 401 and McCowan and rerouting to Scarborough Centenary ER where nurses, coming out to the car and seeing my alabaster-white face sheened with sweat, called for the crash cart -- also fall 2006. That was the last episode, eight years ago. It made me highly vigilant—eight years without an episode. Lesson: if at all possible, dont have a body.
