Update (last night, 9/30/2014) on Susan Sims, who fell 15 feet yesterday & hit her head & was airlifted to AMC. Thank you for your prayers. Please continue to pray for her & her family. Chris Sims: CT complete 7 ribs broken on right and 4 broken on left. 3 vertebrae broken but not displaced. Right foot injuries no idea if broken yet. Left arm injured. Well over 100 stitches in her scalp. No brain bleed or skull fracture. Currently in ICU waiting for MRI. No amount of pain meds seems to touch the back pain. Update 1 hour ago, from Chris: They just completed Susans body brace and orthotics department arrived to put it on. We got the brace on and MRI arrived to take her. Well, what can you NOT take near a MRI? Metal braces. They had to remove the brace and send her to MRI.
