Update on Ally day 7... What started out as a very rough day and a very long morning has turned out to be a good day. Ally is continuing to heal and make great strides in her recovery. This morning we had a set back when we removed her breathing tube she became very tired very quickly as we know this was a possibility it is still a part of the processes in trying to see what she can do and how hard she will fight... She as you all know is strong. Ally has played soccer since she was 4 and she knows when to pace herself and when to kick it in gear... Today she kicked it in gear and has proven how badly she wants to live and breath, but she just wasnt strong enough to maintain a good level... After I got back from a good two hour nap and shower she was awake and calm (calm) that is progress in itself and makes this daddy very happy.. She was lip talking to her mother and I she was asking questions and as the lip readers that was a challenge...she keeps asking why and that she wants to go home...right now her bed is vibrating help break up mucous that has built up in her lungs and causes her to cough this is painful... Please continue to pray for Ally and thank you all for your love and support... Thanks for the family a friends who come up here to show your support even when you cant see her I appreciate it very much and so does her mom. Pray for peace on her tonight so she continues to rest... Every day is a challenge some are different than others.. Some of the worst ones are yet to come.. Continue to pray for her strength and her mental wellness on how she deals with this injury her body has sustained... God bless you and may peace be with you all..
