Update on Ben Younger: He and Kaye Younger finally get to come home today! They went to Dallas on 7/17 for an early 7/18 consult and ended he ended up being admitted for over a week, getting fluids and a feeding tube, going back and forth on whether or not visitors had to wear masks (lowered white blood cell count), etc. Theyve now gotten the right formula and volume for his feeding tube and things are looking better. Dont know how long theyll get to relax in their own space before it is time to go up there for the next phase, but even a couple of nights would be a blessing. When I went up for a visit Saturday, he was happy that I brought him his book to read and lately hes been posting more on FB, so those are good signs that his energy and interest levels are going back up. Keep those thoughts, prayers, posts and cards coming. It does make a difference! It does. [And now, back to work for me! Just had to interrupt work for a few seconds to share the happy news!]
