Update on Bill. He is recovering from the Wallenberg Syndrome Stroke he had at 3am on Wed. 11/26. He is an inpatient at SRI in Spartanburg which is a new, very fine rehabilitation facility where they are working him hard. He is able to wheel himself around, shower, dress, etc. He is slowly regaining his ability to stand. He is walking with a rolling walker for measured distances and some help. The target date for his return home is 12/16. They will bring him home on Tues. 12/9 for a trial run and home inspection to see what equipment he may need when he comes home for good. In the meantime, Bill is ministering to other patients there. Hes prayed with some and staff as well. He spends time with those who seem to be alone and its sweet watching him wheel up to those less fortunate than himself and visit with them. HE MAY BE PREACHING THERE TOMORROW. Someone on staff there is setting it up. Not sure time, but she was going to make up a flyer and pass out to patients and friends. Looks like our small group which he leads will have our Christmas party there. Theyve given approval. So, taking one day at a time and praising the loving Father we serve for every blessing in this trial.
