Update on Buster! The family had struggled to make a decision - TopicsExpress

Update on Buster! The family had struggled to make a decision regarding Busters future. We knew that Buster would not be happy if he could not live his life at 100pmh. We had hoped that Buster would make the decision himself. If he wanted to live he would give us a sign. The ventilator was removed and the medicines were halted. Like every stubborn Worthington, he began to breath on his own, he is talking and hungrier than a bear. The doctor describes his future as uncertain. He is not out of the woods yet. The medical team is still monitoring the blood in his brain which is still an issue. He blood pressure is not under control. He still has weakness on his left side. The old Buster has not back with us yet. He has been though a major neurological event. He is very restless and his mind and eyes seem cloudy. The Moyamoya disease will also continue to progress with no cure to stop it. We know that Buster will be in the NCIU at least for today and perhaps part of tomorrow. He may be transferred to another floor or to a long term care facility. All of this is subject to change depending on his progress. Thank you for prayers, they played an obvious part in Busters current outcome. Due to an incident yesterday, if you visit, I must demand that no pictures, selfies or videos be taken of Buster. To say the least this is extremely disrespectful and invasive to Busters integrity. We are very sad that someone would do this.
