Update on Chriss current flare - he saw his IBD nurse on 23rd and was put on an 8wk course of pred. When he finishes on steds he is being reviewed for flixi infusions or humira injections. He has a stricture in his bowel that has eased somewhat with the steroidal boost but we dont know yet whether he will be having an operation in 2015, and we have yet to get results from the pelvic abdo MRI he had on the 23rd also.if that shows inflammation or infection he may have to go on another course of heavy antibiotics before medication. We will get remission for him, eventually ! 😉
