Update on Cruelty Case* - It is with a very sad heart that I report that one of the horses taken into care and custody from Whitehall on Sunday has died. Chocolate, as we named him, was euthanized at 2:25pm today. He was surrounded with love and compassion in his last hours of life. To the veterinary staff at Battenkil Equine, thank you for your care, support and compassion. To Kimberly Helene Brown and Hal thank you for holding Chocolate in your arms in his last moments. To my pah team and community, we have work to do! To his abusers, the people who caused his death of suffering. Advocates do not give up. When one dies, due to your lack of care. We become more focused on your prosecution. Rest in peace little man, know the love, freedom and abundance that your journey will now provide. ~Nlb PRESS RELEASE State Police in Granville have arrested a Whitehall man on charges of animal cruelty.
