Update on Dad: We finally got him moved to St. Thomas. Hes still in really bad shape . CXR showed pneumonia. Blood gas levels are out of the roof along with his potassium. All of his lab work is bad. They have started dialysis to try and filter out his kidneys and placed a heart cath BC his heart isnt regular anymore. As far as Neurology, Dr. is wanting to get the infection down and his body filtered of the propofol before making a final decision on brain function which will take a day or so. Ive been ask several times why he wasnt moved sooner but no that Ive tried everything In my power to make that happen since December 18th and was denied the request numerous times. I feel like the surgeon/staff at white co hospital butchered and neglected my dad from the moment he went back to surgery. I am not taking this lightly. I have missed work to be with him,to talk with him,to visit with him,all the while doing their job that they shldve been doing in the first place. I have a hard and angry heart right now. Im trying to behave and cope with this situation the best I know how but Im furious. Im hurting,hurting worse than I thought possible. I will continue to update when I know of information as soon as I can.
