Update on Daddy: Daddy has been having good days and enjoying lots of company (and receiving lots of cards). Before leaving for the oncologists visit this morning, the radiologists office called to set up his radiation treatments. He has another preliminary appointment with that office tomorrow afternoon and then his treatments begin on Monday. He will have radiation 5 days a week and take a chemo pill 7 days a week. If he is able to tolerate this well, he will continue that same treatment plan for 6 weeks. After a break from that treatment, he may go through some additional chemo pill rounds with 5 days taking pills then about 4 weeks off. (I am not sure how many rounds of that he would take.) We did visit with the oncologist and received/filled his prescriptions. So, the Lord willing, everything should be ready to get started on Monday.
