Update on Douglas. 1/12/2015 Just wanted to let you know that the count down is coming for the transplant. The doctor has set the date for Feb 05-2015. Brother Bill is his donor and they will be doing a lot of testing on him also to make sure he is in good shape. Continue to pray for us for we have a long road ahead of us. The doctor told us that during the first few months he would be watched very closely to make sure that his body doesnt reject the bone marrow from Bill. It is a very serious time right now and we need prayer to help us along, Doug will need his strength especially now to be able to keep up with all the side affects that could happen. and there is a lot of them sad to say.. But we are heading into this with our minds on the Lord, asking him the Creator to help us with each day. We know that we are nothing without the Lord. And with the Lord we can do all things. So we are praying for strength both in body and in mind. Courage to get us thorough the scary parts, and Faith knowing that God can heal him if it is in his Will. We will keep you updated on him as we go through this journey together. keep praying and believing and we will do just fine.
