Update on Emilyn: Emmy had a bit of a setback today. Unfortunately because of some decelerations in her oxygen levels, we will not be coming home just yet. We are happy that she is in the best place for her right now, and are eager to take her home when the time is perfect. Also, Emmy was a little too squirmy for an MRI at ten this morning so they were unable to complete it. At 3pm this afternoon they made an additional attempt to complete the MRI and received questionable results because she just did not want to sit perfectly still. Our next step is to wait for word from neurology. This will give us a better understanding of any MRI results or tell us if we need to complete another MRI with sedation for a better reading. Also, the neurologist will be able to discuss with us the significance of her sudden oxygen decelerations. Please continue to keep Emmy in your thoughts and prayers as we pass over this obstacle.
