Update on George, the rescue bunny... Today we went shopping for more goodies for George. We got many suggestions from other bunny people, and from our vet. *We got Pedialyte to get some electrolytes into him... hes drinking that up by syringe without too much trouble. *We got fresh greens... romaine lettuce, cilantro, and kale. He wont touch any of it. :( *We got more baby food... this time adding a new flavor.. carrot/corn/garbanzo beans. He loves it. I just put the syringe under his nose, and he picks his head right up to scarf it down. I selected this flavor because it has a higher fiber content, and has a little more sugar (from the corn)... trying to boost his energy levels, and I added a probiotic to it, since that seemed to help improve his regularity yesterday. *We got a mini bale of bunny hay... all timothy hay. He nibbled at that a little, but not much. :-/ *And we got him a banana. He would have nothing to do with that. Ill keep working with him, and on Monday, if he hasnt shown a big improvement, hell be going to see a vet, to see if we can get a handle on what his real problem is, and if its something beyond the malnourished condition he was in when we got him.
