Update on James Harris: We saw his pediatrician today and he had a full body, severe allergic reaction to the ant bites yesterday at school. He will now have to have Benadryl and an epi pen with him at all times, and will see an allergist next week for further testing. Things Ive learned/decided: 1. Steroids make him act like an absolute maniac (in small spurts, thankfully), which the dr. and nurse both said was to be expected (and he has 4 more days of them). 2. If one more vehicle parks so close to me that either my pregnant self doesnt have room to fit in on the drivers side, or so close that I cant fit my toddler (and my pregnant self) in on the passenger side of the car and have to then climb across the drivers side and sort of sling him into his car seat, Im going to let the air out of their tires. Consider yourselves warned, fellow drivers. After we finally got home and he finally got to nap, and I cleaned up one of our dogs accidents off the floor, and my nerves were just about shot...I saw a child abduction alert on TV and realized things could always be much, much worse. Prayers for the 2-year-old little girl who was kidnapped and is believed to be w/ a white man and woman (hes 511 and 201 lbs., and shes 57 and 107 lbs., both w/ dark hair) in a brown or black Pontiac w/ Georgia plates (thats all I could remember).
