Update on John: Hello everyone. John seems to be improving a little bit. They are slowly turning down the respirator. He seems to be adapting to it well. Lung Doc talked to me today. Says perhaps a couple more days on it. His lungs are not bleeding today! I asked about this being Wegeners disease? He said that is a firm of Vasculitus but they would need an open lung biopsy for that & Johns too sick for that. He is doing ok on the steroids & blood sugars are not too bad with the steroids. They started cytoxan today. Its a cancer medicine but successful with lung inflamaton too. Cardiologist came by said still waiting for lungs to clear up before they can do any investigating to see if there are any other blockages. John moved more today to my touch & voice. I put up photos in his window. Want him to see his kiddos when he wakes up & want the hospital people to see pics of this sweet man only 10 days ago. Swinging on the porch with his great grandsons. I did get them to shave him today... Took a little nudging & letting them know I wasnt taking any reasons not to. I even brought up his electric razor from home. Check off excuse #1!
