Update on John: We received 2 letters from him today. Neither had dates, so not sure which he wrote first. He had an allergic reaction to a penicillin shot last Friday (Aug 1). He was transferred to a medical platoon for 2 weeks as per protocol. Hopes to be back in regular training in a few days. The tone of both letters was very positive and focused. Thanks for all your prayers and concern. Please continue to remember him as he gets back into the routine of Basic Training. Semper Fi.
