Update on Justen my grandson. He had the feeding tube removed today and was very hungry so he ate a piece of apple pie and a chicken wrap. Great sign he is getting better. They moved him to another room but still part of the trauma unit just one step down. They have 3 patients here that the nurses watch!! He is still getting breathing treatments and a shaking vest to keep his lungs from filling with fluid. They also pulled the epidural today so he will start feeling his ribs again but he is coughing and that is a good sign. They still have the tube in his right lung to help get rid of the fluid.. He still is in la la land at times but Dr. says with all the trauma he has been through that could last for a few more days. Keep the prayers a coming because we still have a ways to go before he can come home!! Feeling Blessed more tonight. Thanks for all your kind words and for thinking of us. God is Good!!
