Update on Lee, I went to see him tonight he is , in Lee style, very composed and in a constant state of prayer...He is a remarkable man. The story is this: While I was away with my son Lee filled in for me. He told me of the pain he was in but he knew that he could not disappoint those at the Gathering so he gathered his strength and drove. When he got to the meeting house Seans fiancé helped him into the gathering but he never complained but the pain he said he was in was excruciating. He does not know how he did it..He stood and spoke of how Jesus never leaves your side (he tells me). He said that the courage and strength it took for him to stand and give sermon was a testament to the power of prayer and that you never walk alone!...He told me how the car was brought to him so that he did not have to walk up the hill. He drove home and by the grace of god had no pain. He went to the doctor the following day and long story short they did a procedure on him where they placed rods in his thighs to give his bones support...We all know that lee has had it very tough lately and that he has gotten through so much in his life time and has over come it all...He also spoke of the stories that he will tell everyone at the Gathering when he returns! (in true Lee fashion) I will have a card for everyone to sign on Sunday and I will keep you up to date on his recovery. So please send your love light and healing to Lee.... He wants you all to know what I have told you in the above message you never walk alone...
