Update on Len. First he wants to thank everyone for all the cards, over 600 wonderful wishes, and the love, kindness and prayers that everyone has been imparted on him. Len wanted you to know this: Faith: All things are possible with faith. Family: The links in the chain of life that hold us together. Friends: The vitamins that give us strength. God bless you. Len. We saw Dr. Shirazi yesterday and the blood work results were good. No indications of any change in the cancer. Pain has increased but is manageable. His nausea is worse and the doctor thinks he has a yeast infection in his esophagus and has ordered him to take an antibiotic. He has given Len an additional patch for nausea and the doctor hopes that will help Len feel better. Len is holding his weight of about 125lbs and that is a good sign. Len did receive two bags of fluid because blood pressure was low and the doctor thought Len was a little dehydrated. He told us to go home and enjoy the holiday and ordered a CatScan for the first week in January. We are very blessed and feel very taken care of by our doctor and his staff. Your prayers and kindnesses are carrying us through with peace and an assurance that God is in charge and continues to send us help for the journey.
