Update on Linda: the first day in a regular room went fairly well. I think it has been an adjustment not having all of the unit nurses popping in so much. The sitter is working out well. Linda had more pain than usual when the nurses got her up today. She had very little pain medicine today so we encouraged her to get the medicine before getting up. She rested after the pain medicine. She has been using the bed pan today.. Today Edward got to the hospital around 11 am and Eddy Bonner sent us this picture .. Ed stayed with her today and is staying tonight and will ride home with Ricky and Cindy Spake tomorrow afternoon. He likes to be with her, but we know this is not something he can do all of the time. He struggles seeing her going through so much. We pray they both sleep tonight. It was a wonderful answer to prayer when we got word that WL Rainey was visiting because we knew Ed was emotional. I dont think they got any mail today.. So Im going to have some of the night nurses from Lindas posse look for the mail and also drop in to check on them, maybe even get the decorations up. Bumps in the road happen and I think today was one for Ed.. He got his hopes up by how well she was this morning, that when she hurt so bad this afternoon it really got him down. Pray that he can rest and be encouraged by the progress she has made. I know firsthand when you are living it daily.. It is hard to see progress.. Taking a step back you can look at how far she has come. I know that with Carson.. Baby steps , baby steps! Praying for good sleep for both tonight, little pain and a good day tomorrow! Carson has been fixated on his teeth , he has little room for all of the teeth coming in and it is causing discomfort.. Ugh, we dont do well at the dentist! Sigh.. I will have to face that another day!! Lol! Thank you all for your continued prayers and encouragement!!
