Update on MaMoose: Mom is still in ICU. Jen and I went to visit her today and it was very difficult to be there to watch mom be so sedated that her eyes are open but she doesnt know whats going on. Very, very difficult for me to see my mother like that. The doctor did say she is progressing but in order to get out of ICU mom will need to be able to breathe without the oxygen mask. She is resting and they are taking great care of her. I am going back tomorrow and am hoping to see more steps in the right direction. I was able to comfort mom by stroking her arm and forehead. I asked her to blink if she could hear me but she could not blink. I want so badly for my mom to respond to me so I do hope tomorrow brings that response. The doctor said she will be in ICU for at least another 2 to 3 days. I will report more when I have more information. Again thank you so much for your outpouring of love and your commitment to pray for my mother. Please also pray for my father as well. I know this is difficult for him as he watches his soulmate struggle.
