Update on Michael Mauk, Michael and Wanda live in Sellersburg IN. and do Missions on both sides of the river, they both are great Patriots. They had just picked up there new 2014 Ultra on Saturday before the accident, this could have ben much worse had Wanda made this Mission. On June 19th Michael was doing a Patriot Guard escort of a veteran to his burial. While in route to the cemetery a driver ignored the funeral procession, did not pull over for it and plowed into Michael on his motorcycle sending Michael and his motorcycle flying through the air. The woman who ignored the funeral procession and hit Michael was on her cell phone when she hit him, stayed on it when she stopped and was still on it when the police arrived. She was a RN still in her scrubs and still wearing her nurse ID. She never even went to Michael to render aid to him, but stayed on her phone while others were trying to attend him. His right shoulder was dislocated, badly fractured and had a torn rotator cuff. His left forearm was badly fractured. He had to endure 3 surgeries in 3 days to repair all the damage. Michael is back in the hospital for a few days due to blood clots in his leg.
