Update on Millie the Mule from Millies mom: Thought some of your followers might be interested in an update on Millies Mast Cell Tumor removal if you wouldnt mind sharing it!?!?! Millie lost more sutures, so her incision has really opened up, almost two thirds of the way. So much so that Dr. Davis put a small drain back in at the bottom, where there are still a few stitches holding. The tissue is all clean, pretty and pink, which is GOOD. I had oral surgery this morning and am on strict orders to take it easy for a couple days. Im going to call Dr. Davis in the morning, but at this point it looks like Millie will be staying through Monday and then Ill be tending her wound care needs here on my own. It will take longer to heal, since most of the sutures didnt hold, but it WILL heal!!!
