Update on Mom (Bonnie L. Dunahoo) – Mom has had a pretty rough few weeks. About three days after learning that she was responding well to the chemo regimen, she started feeling ill. She ended up with a terrible infection, a side effect of the chemo, which landed her in the hospital. She spent 9 days in ICU, was moved to a regular room for 7 days and was then moved to Cardinal Hill for a couple of days. She is now home but very weak. She and our family give a heartfelt thanks for all of the prayers. She isn’t up to receiving company yet, but please know that she appreciates how much everyone has been concerned and checking in on her. She misses seeing and talking with you all. We look forward to her gaining some strength and getting back to a more normal daily routine.
